Eutopia Search is partnering with a reputable International Business based in Wellingborough looking to recruit an International Financial Accounting Manager, Hybrid working (3 days office based).
In the position of International Financial Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing transactional finance across both UK and Global entities to ensure all general ledger postings are in line with company standards. Key duties include:
* Managing the General Ledger team (circa 4-5 reports) for all legal entities ensuring all applicable internal controls and policies are adhered to.
* Managing and developing the team, ensuring collaboration and effectiveness.
* Full balance sheet ownership for the Group to include Intercompany, Tangible/Intangible Assets.
* Partner with Treasury and Operations to ensure all cash management/risk is managed appropriately.
* Partner with external auditors and be the key contact for Half & Year end audit processes.
* Support group finance to ensure all financial controls and compliance are conducted and documented.
* Ensure month end is carried out smoothly and review team's balance sheet reconciliations are submitted within company timelines.
* Deliver high standards and best practice across transactional finance with a mindset of improving on daily processes and procedures.
The Profile
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA). Ideally Practice trained with an impressive financial and statutory accounting skill set. Technically (IFRS) strong.
* Ideally demonstrated by the fact that you qualified in Practice and then had at least 2 years in a dedicated Financial Accounting/supervisory role within a mid-cap, large or listed environment.
* Strong leadership profile, able to motivate, manage, and mentor.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Diligent, analytical, curious with a high attention to detail.
The Salary
