JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a diligent, organised, customer-focused Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join our growing business. The candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of insurance accounts, providing exceptional service to clients, and ensuring that their insurance needs are met effectively. The role is UK based and may require driving for business purposes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Client Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
* Policy Administration: Process new insurance policies, renewals, and amendments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
* Claims Assistance: Assist clients with the insurance claims process, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
* Risk Assessment: Evaluate client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance coverage options to meet their needs.
* Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and claims documentation via Acturis.
* Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date information.
* Director Support: Collaborate with the Directors to identify new business opportunities and provide support in acquiring new clients.
* Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
* Qualifications: A-Level grades A-C (or equivalent). Financial or Insurance qualifications preferred.
* Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance account handling or a similar role.
* Driving Licence: Preferable.
* Skills:
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills
o Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
o Proficiency in Acturis software and Microsoft Office Suite
o Analytical and problem-solving skills
o Attention to detail and accuracy
