The Team
The Salesforce team is a crucial part of Oodle’s Engineering division. We drive the Salesforce platform and data that integrates with all of our other front-end systems.
The team is made up of 11 Engineers and structured with 8 Salesforce Engineers, 1 Salesforce Business Administrator, and 3 QA Engineers. We strive to deliver high-quality Salesforce and integrated software products in a fun and social environment.
This role is based in London, Oxford, or Manchester and offers a hybrid working model combining in-office and remote work.

The Role
Salesforce Engineer at Oodle Car Finance
A Salesforce Engineer works with product teams to develop software products aligned with project goals, contributing to design and development while ensuring code quality and adherence to Salesforce development ethos.
Your daily tasks may include:
* Building and supporting Salesforce applications using Apex and Lightning Web Components to leverage the platform’s capabilities and support integrations and initiatives.
* Contributing to software architecture, development best practices, and adopting new frameworks.
* Translating business requirements into technical designs and implementations.
* Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects during project delivery and deployment.
About you

Essential Requirements:
* Experience developing on the Salesforce Platform with declarative and coded solutions.
* Understanding of Lightning UX and Salesforce configuration for efficiency.
* Experience with IDEs like VSCode or IntelliJ.
* Experience with Git or similar source control.
* Experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
* Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
* Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
Nice to have:
* Experience with Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud development.
* Experience with Salesforce DX and CLI for development and CI.
* Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
Hiring Process
Preliminary 30-minute video interview with the hiring manager and team member, followed by a final 30-minute interview with the Head of Engineering.
