We Are Looking To Recruit Two Full Time Care Coordinators To Join Our Adult Locality Team. To Be Right For This Job
You have a degree or relevant professional registration as a Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social worker and will be an active member of a dynamic, highly motivated, skilled and creative team.
You will be working in a supportive environment that values your supervision and professional development
You will have a voice and role to play in service development
You will have the opportunity to manage a caseload of diverse service users, delivering a diverse range of clinical skills and building a therapeutic and recovery based relationship.
Recovery principles are embedded in the work of the locality teams and we aim to support people to reach their potential by facilitating hope, empowering autonomy and developing meaning and purpose in life.
This post is available as a B6 to experienced practitioners or a B5 development post to someone newly qualified or completing their training.
For B5, you will gain experience of working within Adult Locality Team and once the identified competencies have been met you will be able to progress to a Band 6. However, if you and your mentor feel a longer period is required that can be agreed.
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. Please confirm in your application that you meet the specified criteria.
You will be working within the Multi-Disciplinary adult locality team and alongside our community team colleagues and ward-based colleagues.
For the B5 development role, you will manage a caseload under the supervision of a Band 6 or above Mental Health Nurse/Practitioner, until you are able to progress to a Band 6. Once a Band 6 you will manage your own caseload, but as with everyone in the Adult Locality Team you will be supported.
The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, but also be able to work autonomously. This post is open to professionals, including newly qualified practitioners who meet the essential criteria. As it is a developmental role there will be opportunities to learn and develop and build upon your existing knowledge and experience base.
For newly qualified RNMH there will be an expectation to undertake a Preceptorship programme / Aspiring Band 6 Development Programme.
