Sales (Support) Engineer
AdTech/MarTech Industry experience
Full-time
Remote (with occasional London visits)
Overview
Combining qualities of both a data analyst and software engineer, as a Sales and Partnerships Support Engineer, you will provide technical support to SuperAwesome’s teams to build tools that demonstrate value during client and partner engagements.
You will be an expert in SuperAwesome’s software products and data estate, sourcing and processing data to meet client needs, and creating visualisations and dashboards.
Specific Responsibilities
* Provide technical assistance to Sales, Ad Operations, Business Development, and Account Management teams, including hypothesis testing, data extraction, troubleshooting, visualisation, and prototyping
* Collaborate with Product Managers to prototype and explore new ideas, and deliver functionalities based on emerging requirements
* Work with product and data engineering teams to understand product workings and access data securely
Required Experience
* Experience in digital marketing and advertising, understanding the programmatic advertising ecosystem
* Experience supporting sales or in technical professional services roles
* Ability to manage ad-hoc, time-sensitive stakeholder requests
* Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (Python or TypeScript), web-scraping, cloud environments (AWS or GCP), and AI tools for data analysis
Key Skills
* Curiosity about client problems and understanding of advertising solutions
* Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly
* Self-motivated, prioritising effectively in complex environments
* Excellent SQL and scripting in Python or TypeScript
* Collaborative with product engineers to ensure solutions do not compromise product integrity
* Effective stakeholder management
