Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team in the vibrant Town of Prestwick. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the smooth management of accounts.
Responsibilities
* Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software Xero.
* Perform data entry tasks to ensure timely updates of financial information.
* Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
* Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.
* Assist with audits and compliance checks as needed.
* Respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
* Help maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
* Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Familiarity with financial services is a plus.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience with data entry tasks.
* Previous property management experience preferred but not essential.
The role will be Tuesday to Thursday working from home and Friday from the office. There will be an element of job and finish working on a rolling basis. Start and finish times can be flexible.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11,648.00-£12,480.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 per week
