Friendly, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach Good organisational and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Respect for confidentiality and diversity Commitment to Cyfannol’s values of Empowerment, Integrity, Self-awareness, Collaboration, Resilience, and Dedication How often will I volunteer? This role is flexible and can be tailored to suit your availability. Typical hours fall between 9am and 4:30pm on weekdays. What will you gain from volunteering with us? Experience in a charity and community support setting Insight into the impact of domestic abuse and sexual violence Training and support to develop your skills The chance to make a meaningful difference Reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses (in line with policy) Interested? If you would like to find out more about this volunteer role and application process, please contact fundraising@cyfannol.org.uk *An enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check will be conducted for this role* Lived Experience and Volunteering Many of our volunteers are drawn to this role because they have lived experience of domestic abuse and/or sexual violence. We deeply value the insight and empathy that this experience can bring. If you are currently receiving support or staying in refuge accommodation, we recommend waiting until your support journey has concluded before applying to volunteer. We understand that everyone’s experience and healing process is unique, and we don’t set a fixed timeframe for when someone can begin volunteering after support has ended. If this applies to you, we’d be happy to have a supportive and confidential conversation about it as part of the recruitment process.
