Job Duties:
* Assist the lead teacher in delivering educational activities and lessons
* Support students with learning tasks and provide individualised help when needed
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
* Prepare materials and resources for lessons
* Supervise students during breaks and outdoor activities
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Relevant experience working with children or young people
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
A relevant educational qualification or training in teaching assistance
Experience:
Experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of child development and learning processes
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Excellent organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Higher level qualification in Education or Teaching Assistance
* First aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The candidate may need to assist with outdoor activities and occasional field trips. The work hours are typically during school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
