For the EBD Children's Registered Manager roles in Birmingham, the successful candidate will be overseeing the day-to-day running and operations of a solo bed home.
Job Requirements:
1. Provide strong leadership, direction, and guidance to a dedicated care team, promoting a positive and inclusive working culture.
2. Manage residential staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers.
3. Develop and implement care plans, tailoring them to meet individual needs and preferences.
4. Ensure compliance with Company policies, Children's Homes Regulations, and OFSTED standards.
5. Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders including Local Authorities and Care Quality Groups.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation, including care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
7. Coordinate holistic support for children and young people, promoting continuous improvement to enhance care quality.
Experience & Knowledge:
1. 2+ years experience managing a Children's Home or Service Level 3 Children's Residential Care.
2. Sound knowledge of OFSTED legislation, regulations, and best practices in children's residential care services.
3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and stakeholders.
4. Dedicated and inspiring leadership qualities to motivate and develop staff.
