Gleesons has been partnered with a Global Freight Forward looking for a Freight Account Manager for there Road Division ,\n\nThe Client is looking for a professional looking to grow within a Customer driven business you will manage your accounts and further develop relationships with the business and forwarder.\n\nJob Title: Road Freight Account Manager \n\nLocations: Sheffield \n\nSalary: £35 - £50,000 + Package\n\nPackage: Company Car + Commission\n\nDuties:\n\nBuild and manage a portfolio of customers within your assigned territory, focusing on long-term growth and retention.\nProactively identify new sales opportunities through the company's internal CRM system and other market intelligence sources.\nConduct outbound telesales activity to profile and qualify potential clients, leveraging product suite for the Freight Forwarding business.\nSchedule and attend face-to-face meetings with prospective clients, presenting tailored proposals and quotations.\nTake full ownership of accounts in your portfolio, working to grow volume and position the business as the preferred or sole supplier.\nMaintain proactive, regular contact with your customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and explore further business opportunities.\nSecuring new business and expanding relationships with existing clients, transitioning them to the internal customer service team once onboarded.Ideal Candidate:\n\nFreight Account Management Experience.\nRoad Freight Experience.\nProven Track Record of Account Management - Growth New & Old.\nClient FocusedAt Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
