Your new role

Hays business support are currently recruiting for a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation within the Shipping industry. You will be a motivated and detail-oriented General Administrator / Data Entry Clerk, joining a small and energetic team on a temporary basis to cover a period of sickness for 8 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide administrative support to various departments.
2. Manage and organise files, documents, and correspondence.
3. Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
4. Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
5. Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
6. Perform other general office duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed:

1. Proven experience in an administrative and/or data entry role.
2. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Full driving licence required.

What you'll get in return:

1. £11.44 per hour plus holiday pay.
2. Part-time hours, 24 hours per week over 3 or 4 days.
3. 8-week contract with possibility of extension.
