Lodestone Recruitment is currently working with an established global manufacturing business based in Rotherham who are looking to recruit an apprentice-trained CNC Miller to join a high-volume CNC machining environment.

The Role
Setting and operating 5-Axis CNC vertical milling machines
Machining on Soraluce machine
Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
Working closely with operators to maintain output and delivery schedules
Proving programs, setting tools, offsets, and reference points
Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
Working to tight tolerances and deadlines
Shifts & Hours
38 hours per week
Rotating early and late shifts - WEEK 1: 6am-2pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 6am-12pm WEEK 2 Monday to Wednesday 2pm-12pm Thursday 2pm-10pm
Requirements
Essential:
Apprentice-trained Machinist with a bias in CNC Milling
Must have experience with 5-Axis Machining Centres
Experience programming, setting and operating Heidenhain controls
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Confident working to tight tolerances
