Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. The Power Unit is from Neuburg, while Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations.
This position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.
Your mission
This role is focused on building a world-class merchandising, licensing, and retail business. In this dynamic environment, we seek a Licensing & Merchandising Specialist who can blend strategic vision with operational execution. The primary focus will be developing and managing licensing activities, working closely with licensees and partners, and supporting merchandising efforts. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, proactive, and capable of switching between strategic planning and hands-on tasks.
* Support the development and implementation of a licensing strategy aligned with the Audi F1 Project’s brand and commercial goals.
* Manage and oversee the licensing process for branded products, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality standards.
* Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to create compelling product offerings.
* Negotiate and execute licensing agreements with mutually beneficial terms.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with licensees and partners to grow the brand.
* Monitor licensed product performance and provide insights for sales optimization.
* Oversee merchandising back-office activities, including order processing and logistics coordination.
* Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new licensing opportunities.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, or a related field.
* 2-3 years of experience in licensing management, preferably in sports or related brands.
* Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Understanding of licensing agreements, intellectual property, and contract law.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
* Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
* Passion for sports and understanding of consumer trends in sports merchandise.
* Proficiency in English; German skills are an advantage.
