BMindful Psychology are currently recruiting an Educational Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team, focusing on children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those who are looked after (CLA).
Job Summary
This post offers an exciting and unique opportunity for an Educational Psychologist to work in exciting and different contexts. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of an educational psychology service that sits within a diverse multi-disciplinary team comprising of clinical, educational and forensic psychologists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapist and assistant psychologists.
Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Senior Educational Psychologist and a multidisciplinary teams.
Advise and collaborate with schools, foster carers, and local authorities to ensure effective implementation of care and education plans.
Provide consultations and psychological assessments to identify and address the needs of children with SEN and those in care
Co-develop person centred reports and intervention plans, including strategies to support learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
Provide training and workshops to educators and carers, enhancing their understanding of SEN, trauma, and attachment.
Offer trauma informed support and guidance to children and young people, promoting resilience and positive mental health.
Contribute to neurodevelopmental assessments and post diagnostic support.
Support the placement of Year 1 TEPs and contribute to research development.
Contribute to bMindful service development and the promotion of inclusive practices across education and care settings.

Qualifications and Skills
Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
Experienced in working with children and young people with SEN and/or those in care.
Knowledgeable about trauma-informed approaches, attachment theory, and evidence-based interventions.
An effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and professionals.
Passionate about inclusion and committed to reducing barriers to learning and development.
Skilled in providing consultation, assessment, and intervention within multi-agency contexts.
