About the team Our Global SMB Learning & Development team is responsible for training our Sales and Operations colleagues, who serve SMB customers across the UK and ROI. The team works closely with our internal and external stakeholders across the organization to enhance their knowledge and skills in line with our strategic goals and initiatives. What you’ll own as the Sales & Operations Trainer Training Development and Delivery Deliver a range of ongoing training initiatives, including sales skills, onboarding, systems and compliance training Consult with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to define clear objectives and learning outcomes Work cross-functionally to ensure business alignment: actively participate in and lead project meetings/new initiatives/launches. Research, gather, and compile relevant insight, feedback, and data for business partners Select, implement, and facilitate using multiple and appropriate delivery methods and media Plan and execute pre- and post-course activities to align learning styles and instructional environment needs with course objectives Develop new programs and content to address specific needs across sales and operations teams Administer appropriate assessments as necessary and evaluate the success of course design, one's own preparation and delivery, and use results to continuously improve self and team effectiveness Conducting training needs analysis for teams we support, to identify gaps and suggest training opportunities Deliver and support effective coaching and feedback tools for front line employees. Provide relevant findings and feedback to leaders Additional L&D Activities and Projects: Participate in and lead various L&D projects to support organizational goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement training initiatives Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training programs Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D activities and make recommendations for improvement Contribute to the development of L&D strategies and policies. What you’ll bring Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in a Learning & Development role Proven experience in sales and/or operations training Strong facilitation skills in both classroom and virtual formats Ability to analyse data and develop actionable insights Strong organizational skills and demonstrated agility and ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities Proficiency in training software and tools Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills Ability to create and deliver engaging training content Ability to collaborate; effectively working across multiple levels, roles, teams, and functions in the organization Knowledge of the Payments industry would be advantageous but not essential What we offer you A competitive salary and benefits A variety of career development tools, resources and opportunities The chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in the payment industry Time to support charities and give back in your community.
