Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Sales Manager to lead commercial strategy and revenue growth across two properties Novotel Cambridge North and Ibis Cambridge Station. As Cluster Sales & Marketing Manager, you will play key role in driving corporate and leisure revenue by elevating ACCOR brand presence within Cambridge market. Reporting to the General Managers (Novotel & Ibis), you are responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales, strategic account management, and effective leadership of the sales function. With a core focus on expanding market share and building long-lasting client relationships, this role ensures strong performance across negotiated accounts, group business, meetings & events, and in-house marketing initiatives. This position requires a highly motivated, organised, and communicative leader who excels at both independent work and inspiring high performance in others. TASKS/ MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES: Drive proactive sales across corporate, group and M&E segments to grow revenue and market share Identify, target and secure new business opportunities aligned with the hotel’s commercial strategy Build and develop strong client relationships through consistent engagement and structured account planning Grow share from negotiated accounts by driving rate, protecting base business and maximising opportunities Represent the hotel(s) at industry events, trade shows, client meetings and show rounds to strengthen visibility Support fam trips, client events and hosting opportunities to promote the hotel Conduct regular sales meetings – with GM’s Lead RFP and RFI processes, ensuring timely and competitive submissions Manage corporate contracts including negotiation, rate loading and annual recontracting Maintain structured account development with clear action plans, KPIs and regular client engagement Deliver against account growth targets and client engagement objectives Monitor market trends and competitor activity and share insights with the GM REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: High degree of organisation and advanced planning & follow-up skills Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Knowledge of the hotel industry and market trends. Work autonomously Data Analysis and reporting capacity. Fluent English EXPERIENCE NEEDED: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role in the hospitality industry. Experience with corporate, groups, or M&E is an advantage. Salary: From £47K up to £55K
