Purpose of the role
To operate Stoll knitting machines efficiently and accurately during weekend shifts, ensuring the production of high-quality textile products in line with customer specifications. This role is ideal for individuals seeking weekend work with a structured weekday training program (612 weeks) to gain full competency and sign-off before transitioning to weekend-only operations.
The day to day
* To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements
* Produce products to the agreed specification by following processes
* Quality checking to ensure a quality product is knitted and delivered to the customer
* Maintain Stoll machines to in accordance with standard working practices to ensure smooth running operation and efficiency of the machine
* Ensure a smooth shift handover by attending daily meetings
* Change over machines to ensure smooth running of the manufacturing process
