Overview
Sense is recruiting for a Shop Manager to work 33.75 hours (4.5 days) per week at our shop in Nailsea on a permanent basis. This role leads a team, drives standards, operational and customer service excellence, and maximises income generation for the charity. The role sits within Sense’s network of over 120 shops as we continue our shop growth programme.
Responsibilities
* Build, train and inspire a great team of volunteers
* Deliver superb shop standards, offer and customer engagement
* Drive stock generation and community engagement
* Support the annual activity that helps raise brand awareness and income to benefit the people Sense supports
Key Skills and Experience
* Self-motivated, creative, good communicator with a strong commitment to charity retail
* Experience of inspiring a team to provide excellent customer service
* Attention to detail to maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment for customers, staff and volunteers
* Experience of working in a retail environment or in a team leader position
* Willingness to work Bank Holidays and weekends as required; flexibility to work across 7 days is desirable
