Technical Manager
Location: Sanquhar, Scotland

iO Associates is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead and develop the technical function within a busy food manufacturing environment. This role is key in ensuring compliance with BRC standards, legislation, and customer requirements, while driving continuous improvement across food safety and quality systems.
You will oversee the Quality Management System, identify trends, implement corrective actions, and support the wider management team with strategic decision-making.
Required
* Strong knowledge of technical systems and protocols (e.g. BRC v9, retailer CoPs).
* A relevant qualification in a scientific/technical discipline (degree/HND).
* Proven experience in technical management within the food industry.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* HACCP (Level 3, ideally Level 4) and Level 4 Hygiene.
* Experience with allergens, internal auditing, and high care/high risk environments.
