Home » Vacancies » Resource & Operations Assistant European Skybus Ltd Resource & Operations Assistant European Skybus Ltd Location Bournemouth Airport Job Type Full time Package £28,000 APPLY Resource and Operations Assistant Reporting to: Resource & Operations Manager Location: Bournemouth Contract Type: Full-Time Role Overview The Resource and Operations Assistant supports the efficient planning and coordination of maintenance resources and daily operations. Working closely with the Resource & Operations Manager, you will help ensure that manpower, materials, and facilities are optimally allocated to meet maintenance schedules and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Assist with planning, allocation, and tracking of manpower resources to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks. Coordinate with certifying staff, engineers, and contractors to maintain adequate staffing levels and shift coverage. Support the preparation and maintenance of rotas, timesheets, and resource utilisation reports. Monitor work progress against plan, highlighting any potential resource or operational constraints to the Resource & Operations Manager. Assist with the upkeep of resource management systems and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Help ensure compliance with all UK CAA Part 145 regulations, company procedures, and health & safety policies. Provide general administrative support to the Operations team, including producing reports, maintaining files, and updating documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and resource utilisation. Carry out any other reasonable duties as required to support the smooth operation of the Maintenance organisation. Requirements Advantageous: Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role within an aviation or technical environment. Familiarity with UK CAA Part 145 requirements (desirable but not essential). Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. Good IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with maintenance management software is an advantage. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. High attention to detail and accuracy. Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving. Desirable Experience working within a maintenance environment or an approved Part 145 organisation. Knowledge of shift rostering and workforce management tools.
