As an Ecommerce Operations Assistant at Covetrus, you will have the opportunity to develop multiskilled capabilities across various operational departments within the outbound team. Your duties may include:
Pick and Pack
* Loading orders onto our advanced conveyor system and/or vehicle-supported order picking
* Executing the pick and pack process using our technology-driven system throughout the facility
* Completing customer orders based on geographical location
* Auditing and verifying product quality
Dispatch
* Efficiently loading customer orders onto our logistics network
* Managing priority customer movements with the supply chain, including paperwork
* Ensuring continuous stock movement
* Opportunity to gain MHE qualifications
Relevant to all departments
* Manual handling within the warehouse environment, including lifting, moving, and transporting pallets/boxes using pallet trucks; working at heights with internal equipment such as high order pickers and wave machines
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping by adhering to cleaning plans
* Complying with all health and safety requirements and instructions
* Selecting goods for customer orders from designated stock locations, securely packing them, and attaching address labels
* Conducting quality checks on picked orders
In addition to the duties listed above, all positions are responsible for:
* Meeting company standards for quantity and quality of work, in compliance with company policies and procedures
* Adhering to workplace behavior standards as per company policies and directives
