HCL Tech’s Microsoft Business Applications Practice (MBAP) is seeking a Microsoft D365 F&SCM Senior Functional Consultant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM projects, particularly in Finance, Procurement, and Sales, with a good understanding of end-to-end implementation life cycles.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Owning all aspects of the Financial Management module, collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring successful project delivery.
2. Conducting kick-offs, requirement gathering, and knowledge transfer sessions; evaluating business processes and preparing Business Requirement Documents.
Analyzing client requirements to suggest Business Re-Engineering processes, eliminating non-value-adding steps, and aligning software solutions with business needs.
Performing Fit-gap analysis, converting requirements into functional specifications, and preparing design documents.
Configuring and demonstrating Financial Management processes such as Chart of Accounts, Consolidation, Financial Reporting, Exchange Rates, Intercompany Accounting, Ledger Accruals, Accounts Receivable & Payable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
Handling System Integration Testing (SIT), end-user training, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Go-Live activities.
Managing data migration activities and strategies.
Mentoring other consultants, owning project deliverables, and producing documentation including user manuals.
Developing functional design documentation, technical specifications, test scripts, and deployment plans.
Facilitating client functional sessions and weekly status meetings, guiding clients towards decisions.
Conducting functional testing during implementation, including modifications and subprocesses.
Testing and deploying Microsoft Dynamics systems, including pilot, implementation, and deployment phases, and supporting integrations.
Ensuring high-quality service and product delivery to clients.
Collaborating with customers to identify and resolve issues affecting scope or timelines.
Skills Required:
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012/Dynamics 365 F&SCM implementations.
* Participation in at least 3 end-to-end projects, familiar with typical implementation methodologies.
* Experience in Finance, Procurement, and Sales (including Non-stock Procurement, Services, Catalogues).
* Strong understanding of solutions in Financial and Project Management Accounting, multi-country and multi-currency AX implementations.
* Expertise in Asset Management, Fixed Assets, AP/AR, General Ledger, Supply Chain, Taxation, and Audit.
* Excellent communication, analysis, and documentation skills.
* Proactive, positive attitude, and collaborative working style.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.
* Ability to work remotely and on-site, with some travel expected.
* Experience with DevOps for tracking deliverables, risks, and issues.
* Leadership experience in delivering project modules and solutions.
