We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students within specialist schools across Gloucester. This role involves working closely with children and young people who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students access education in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, assist with tailored learning activities, and help manage behaviour using positive and consistent strategies.
The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs. Experience in SEN settings is desirable, but a strong willingness to learn and a proactive attitude are equally important.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact on students' academic progress, social development, and overall wellbeing, while gaining valuable experience within specialist education settings
