This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs, or those transitioning into specialist education to gain valuable experience while maintaining flexibility.
About the Role
As an SEN Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with additional learning requirements. You may be working on short-term, long-term, or day-to-day assignments depending on your availability and preference.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Planning and delivering adapted lessons in line with EHCP targets
* Creating a structured and inclusive learning environment
* Managing behaviour positively and effectively
* Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff
* Monitoring progress and providing feedback

You can choose to work in:
SEN Schools – Supporting pupils with autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, medical needs, or communication challenges.
SEMH Schools – Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including anxiety, trauma, and behavioural difficulties.
Who Can Apply?

* Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
* Teachers with mainstream experience looking to move into SEN
* Experienced SEN teachers seeking flexible work
Experience working with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH is beneficial but not essential. A patient, resilient, and proactive approach is key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
