An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Dorchester Agency.
About the role:
As a Commercial Insurance Adviser at NFU Mutual Dorchester, your focus is on driving growth, delivering tailored advice, and building lasting client relationships.
You will take a proactive approach to identifying and developing new commercial insurance opportunities, maintaining a well-structured and active prospect pipeline. By engaging effectively with potential clients, you will position NFU Mutual as a trusted, long-term insurance partner.
A core aspect of the role is converting opportunities into new business. You will carry out thorough fact-finds to understand each client’s unique risks and requirements, enabling you to deliver insightful, consultative recommendations. You will confidently address client questions and objections, securing new business in line with agency growth ambitions.
Alongside business development, you will manage a portfolio of key commercial clients. Acting as a trusted adviser, you will regularly review their insurance arrangements, ensuring cover remains aligned to their needs.
About you:
· Self-motivated and organised, with experience in a commercial insurance or B2B sales role
· A demonstrable track record of winning new business and managing client relationships
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
· Full UK driving licence
· Cert CII (or working towards) desirable
