Established MEP company with increasing revenues are seeking a capable Operations manager who has an electrical background, both with qualifications and experience. The Operations manager will over see 4 established divisions, covering both mechanical and electrical divisions.
The company focuses on both project and maintenance; the Operations manager role will be to oversee the maintenance, PPM, testing and new install side of the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Manage Day to day operations of 4 sub departments within the business.
* Oversee 4 heads of departments and all associated contracts managers, supervisors and engineers below.
* Responsible for the delivery of existing contracts.
* Dispute resolution, internally and externally.
* Maximising profitability on secured contracts.
* Business development where available.
* Report directly to Managing Director
Person Specification / Qualifications
* Ideally qualified electrician with experience in testing, PPM and remedial works.
* Working with social housing providers previously would be advantageous.
* Proven ability to manage multiple department heads across MEP divisions.
* Level headed individual that is able to appraise situations without bias
* Experience managing multi million pound contracts.
