AI Solutions Consultant – 12-month contract – Hybrid (London)
My client is a leading UK government-owned investment organisation seeking an AI Solutions Consultant to join a high-impact AI transformation programme.
With a global mandate focused on emerging markets, the organisation is entering a new phase of its technology strategy – embedding AI to drive operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and deliver measurable impact at scale.
This role sits within a central Technology & Security function, leading the responsible adoption of AI across the business. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and governance – ensuring AI solutions are both impactful and compliant.
The AI Solutions Consultant is expected to:
* Support the implementation and integration of AI solutions across the business, aligned to governance and regulatory standards.
* Identify, shape, and prioritise high-impact AI use cases with business stakeholders.
* Map business processes and define how AI can enhance efficiency and decision-making.
* Design, test, and evaluate AI tools, producing clear documentation to support delivery and adoption.
* Build simple, tactical AI solutions (including no-code/low-code agents) to demonstrate value and enable deployment.
* Work closely with IT and data teams to integrate AI solutions into the enterprise technology stack.
* Establish and monitor key metrics (usage, risk, performance) and report insights to stakeholders.
* Provide training and guidance to end users, promoting safe and effective use of AI tools.
The successful AI Solutions Consultant will possess:
* Experience in business analysis or technology consulting, preferably in financial services (front-office exposure is a plus), with hands-on implementation of AI solutions using modern AI platforms and techniques.
* Experience in technology consulting or business analysis with hands-on delivery of AI/GenAI solutions.
* Proven track record delivering technology or transformation projects end-to-end (design through to adoption).
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into business language.
* Knowledge of AI governance, risk, and data protection considerations.
* Experience with modern AI platforms (Microsoft AI stack/Azure/OpenAI advantageous).
Important:
This is not a traditional Data PM or purely advisory role. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience delivering AI solutions, including clear business outcomes and impact.
