The Role:
* Location: Fleetwood (FY7)
* Start Date: 23rd February
* Duration: Monday - Friday (Temporary contract, until March 31st)
* Hours: Split Shift (6 hours per day)
o Morning: 07:30 - 09:30
o Afternoon/Evening: 14:00 - 18:00
Key Responsibilities:
* Site Security: Opening the school promptly by 07:30 and ensuring a comprehensive, secure lock-up each evening.
* Health & Safety: Executing regular compliance checks, safety reports, and general grounds maintenance.
* Seasonal Maintenance: Keeping the school running in all weathers ensuring paths are salted/safe by 07:30 for staff and fully cleared by 08:35 for pupils.
* Logistics & Supplies: Supervising food/milk deliveries, setting up water fountains, and managing the inventory for cleaning materials.
* Team Coordination: Working closely with the cleaning team and tackling general maintenance tasks as they arise.
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience: A solid background as a Caretaker, Site Supervisor, or in general facilities management.
* Reliability: You are the "key holder," so punctuality is everything!
* Practical Skills: A "can-do" attitude toward minor repairs and a firm grasp of H&S regulations.
* Communication: A friendly, professional approach when interacting with staff, pupils, and visitors.
* DBS: Please be aware as part of our vetting a DBS check/ certificate will be required, we can support with obtaining this.
