Job Description
A highly established and reputable charitable organisation are seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant with strong Fixed Asset Register (FAR) experience to assist with a key finance project.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working hands-on with data, has a keen eye for detail, and can confidently operate in a fast moving finance function.
The role is working on a 3-6 month contract, going in 2 days per week and is offering a rate of between £300-£400 per day Inside IR35.
Key Duties
* Assist with the roll out of a new Fixed Asset module
* Transfer and verify a high-volume Fixed Asset Register
* Carry out detailed reviews of asset data to ensure accuracy and integrity
* Reconcile asset balances across different financial periods
* Investigate and resolve inconsistencies within asset data
* Partner with the wider finance team to support a seamless system transition
Required Experience
* Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA preferred)
* Demonstrable experience handling large Fixed Asset Registers
* Strong Excel capability, particularly with large and complex datasets
* High level of accuracy with a structured and methodical approach
* Able to work independently and deliver within a contract environment
