At SAAF Education, were working with a number of Special Educational Needs schools and provisions across South Yorkshire that are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and resilient SEN TAs to join their teams from September. These schools support learners with a wide range of needs, including Autism (ASD), PMLD, MLD, SLD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, Mental Health and behavioural needs. Key Responsibilities: Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups Assisting with learning activities and differentiated lessons Supporting personal care, communication, and sensory needs (where required) Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to deliver high-quality support Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff What We're Looking For: Experience working in UK SEN settings (schools or care/education-based roles) A calm, patient, and flexible approach Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs Experience with Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach, Personal care, Moving and Handling (desirable but not essential) Long-term availability from September 2025 Why Work With SAAF Education?
