Peterborough - Team Manager - Children in Care Team - £45 p/h Umbrella An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Manager to join the Children in Care (CIC) Team with Peterborough City Council. Duties and Responsibilities: * To lead and manage a team of Social Workers to deliver high-quality services for children in care. * To provide supervision, guidance, and performance management to ensure effective casework practice. * To oversee complex cases, ensuring robust care planning and timely decision-making. * To work collaboratively with foster carers, residential providers, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes. * To ensure compliance with statutory requirements, local policies, and best practice standards. * To promote a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement within the team. Working Pattern: * Hybrid working arrangement. Pay Rate: * £45 per hour Umbrella. Essential Requirements: * Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent. * Social Work England Registration. * Substantial experience in Children's Social Care, including management or supervisory experience. * Strong leadership and decision-making skills. * In-depth understanding of legislation, safeguarding, and care planning processes.
