This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Services team at the University of Plymouth Peninsula Medical School.
About the role
The Clinical Liaison Services team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements. The focus of the team is on clinical provider liaison and engaging with the wider health care community.
Responsibilities
* Lead on hospital placements for Stages 3-5 of the BMBS Programme (medical students).
* Manage the day-to-day administration of hospital clinical placements and associated academic content.
* Support the set-up and delivery of the new curriculum.
* Provide advanced IT support, with strong Excel skills, and analyse and present data.
* Demonstrate clear communication, attention to detail, and excellent organisation.
* Contribute to teamwork and demonstrate motivation for team leadership within a highly organised Clinical Liaison Team that prioritises customer service.
Qualifications and skills
* Advanced IT skills and high proficiency in Excel.
* Experience in analysing and presenting data.
* Proven communication skills, great attention to detail, and excellent organisation.
* Clear understanding of teamwork and motivation for team leadership.
Working pattern
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. The team are expected to work in the John Bull Building for most of the time; informal hybrid working arrangements with up to 1-2 days WFH each week are offered, subject to business needs.
