Overview
Consultant in Gastroenterology. We are expanding our gastroenterology team as part of the launch of our Community Diagnostic Centre in West Swindon (on the horizon for January 2025). The department currently includes 8 senior medical staff (Consultants & SAS doctors) who work across 4 endoscopy rooms at the Great Western Hospital site and screening (ERCP/stenting). The Community Diagnostic Centre is planned to launch in October 2025, creating an opportunity to work across dual sites between Great Western Hospital and the CDC. We welcome interest in Nutrition/IBD/Hepatology and encourage development of a subspecialty interest. Upper GI and HPB cancer are managed collaboratively with John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford.
Our MDTs are well supported by pathology, radiology and surgeons, working closely with our surgical and radiology colleagues.
