Lead C&I Solar Electrician £40,000 – £48,000 DOE North/North West Manchester We’re working with a growing commercial solar EPC delivering projects across the UK, and they’re looking to bring in an experienced Lead C&I Solar Electrician to support their expanding installation team. This is a hands-on role working on commercial and industrial rooftop and ground-mounted systems, with a business that is investing heavily in growth and long-term progression. What you’ll be doing Installing and commissioning commercial and industrial solar PV systems to businesses across the UK. Working on inverters, string wiring, containment and panel installation Carrying out testing, inspection and fault finding Supporting full project delivery from install through to handover Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and regulations What we’re looking for Proven experience working on commercial solar projects Background with a reputable solar EPC or contractor Strong knowledge of inverters, panel wiring and system installs Experience with testing and commissioning (2391 or similar) Qualified Electrician (NVQ and 18th Edition essential) ECS Gold Card is essential Ability to lead a small team Flexible to travel and work away Over 25 years old with no more than 6 points (for insurance purposes) What’s on offer £40,000 – £48,000 basic salary (DOE) Food Allowance paid Mondays (no receipts/claiming expenses back needed) 4 day work week during spring and summer months - 5 day work week in autumn winter Working for a company owned and managed by a leadership team who have worked on the tools within the solar industry and understand the common issues and pain-points of the industry from a tradesman/tradeswoman's point of view Exciting pipeline of solar work with some of the biggest primary contractors and EPC in the country Personal use of company vehicle (within reason) Food allowances paid into bank Monday morning - no messing about with receipts and claiming expenses back!
