We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a school that caters to pupils aged 7 to 18 with a wide range of abilities and complex learning needs.
About the Role:
As a key member of our support team, you will:
1. Work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils’ learning and development.
2. Provide tailored support to students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and more complex conditions.
3. Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.
4. behaviour support where necessary.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
5. Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
6. Experienced (or keen to gain experience) in working with children or young people with SEN.
7. A strong communicator and team player.
8. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Qualifications & Experience:
9. Previous experience in a school or care setting is desirable but not essential.
10. Relevant qualifications (, CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are advantageous.
11. Ongoing CPD opportunities will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
