Logistics Coordinator

Due to internal reallocation of resources a contract opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator has become available with a busy EPCI client of Leap29 in Stavanger.
The position is integral to the upcoming offshore season and so candidates urgently available and based in Norway are essential.
The successful candidate will have more than 3 years experience in international logistics including import / export, preferable in a similar company with offshore operations. Purchasing, reporting and supporting mob / demob activities is vital, so a flexibility to travelling to base is important.
Job description:
1. Co-operate with other project members in order to identify all necessary equipment, own equipment and equipment to be hired.
2. Communicate with equipment group for booking of equipment
3. Control the equipment from order and through equipment mobilization and demobilization
4. Ensure that all necessary certificates and documents are in place and establish a certificate/documentation package
5. Ensure that all equipment is properly marked and that Goods Receipt is done (at any location) for all equipment related to vessel mobilization/demobilization
6. Create Over, Short and Damage reports when necessary
7. Create Delivery Notes, manifests and proper Customs clearance to ensure full control over all project materials
8. Co-operate with in-house warehouse and other locations/sites where project materials will be stored, including proper packing, preservation and marking of project materials
9. Co-operate with project members and suppliers in order to perform reconciliation and close-out of project
10. Be responsible for receiving, control and return of all CPI
11. During Mobilisations/Demobilisations secure all needs that come from the project, either via the Project Buyer or the local Agent(for smaller purchases).
Qualifications:
12. Able to communicate effectively with the project team, Client, Subcontractors, internal organisation and other involved parties
13. Ability to detect and analyse critical items for the project execution.
14. Ability to project forthcoming events, tasks, key dates, etc.
15. Maintain and improve Project Control related systems
16. Ability to understand practical work and have a high level of independence
17. Knowledge of DNV /Arbeidstilsynets rules for lifting, lifting components and certificates
18. Ability to adapt to changes in an environment of continuous improvements.
