Position: Setting Out Engineer/ Site Engineer

Type of work: Piling, groundworks & RC
We are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join our growing team delivering groundworks, piling, and foundation packages across residential and commercial projects in London.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurate setting out using Total Station and GPS equipment
* Establishing gridlines, datums, and benchmarks
* Setting out foundations (strip, trench fill, raft, pile caps & ground beams)
* Overseeing piling works (predominantly bored piling)
* Setting out drainage and service runs
* Reporting to a Project Engineer
* Working closely with site managers, other Site Engineer and operatives on site and subcontractors
Requirements:
* Proven experience in groundworks and foundation projects
* Strong knowledge of piling and substructure works
* Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings
* Proficient with surveying instruments
* Good understanding of health & safety regulationsCSCS card (essential)
