Dove & Hawk are working alongside a Property Management Company based in East London, who are looking for an experienced Void Property Inspector Manager to manage a portfolio of residential properties consisting of a mixture of lettings and vacant properties located across East London. Duties/Functions of the role: Attend every property within 24 hours of it becoming vacant Conduct a full condition inspection immediately upon vacancy Identify damage, wear and tear, compliance issues, and required remedial works Ensure inspections meet local-authority standards for temporary accommodation Produce a fully itemised schedule of works within 24 hours of vacancy * Accurately price all works using the approved Schedule of Rates (SOR) Calculate and record the expected duration of work, the target completion date, and the total estimated cost Ensure all pricing is accurate, defensible, and aligned with ELPM cost controls Upload inspection reports, photographs, schedules of works, and SOR costings to ELPM systems within required timescales Clearly flag urgent health & safety or compliance issues immediately Provide concise, actionable reports to the Maintenance / Voids Manager Identify issues relating to gas and electrical safety, fire safety, damp and mould, and general habitability and HHSRS risks Ensure all identified works support full compliance prior to re-occupation Challenge unnecessary work and ensure value for money Support the reduction of void turnaround times and maintenance spend. Identify recurring issues across the portfolio and report trends Requirements of the Role: A minimum of 3 years' experience in all aspects of residential property management.
