The role
As a Warehouse and Distribution Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and data support to the Warehouse and Distribution team, helping to keep complex operations running smoothly and safely. Accuracy, organisation and collaboration directly support service performance, operational readiness and strong decision‑making.
Day-to-day responsibilities
* Act as the single point of contact for the Warehouse and Distribution team using business systems and applications
* Produce accurate reports, management information and performance data to support key performance indicators
* Complete general administrative activities including report writing, minute taking, filing, visitor notifications and ordering supplies
* Coordinate training bookings, schedules and documentation for operational teams
* Maintain accurate data and records to support service delivery and performance reporting
This is a 36‑hour per week full‑time role with hybrid working arrangements. Two opportunities are available: permanent and 12‑month fixed‑term.
Essential experience
* Proficient use of Microsoft Word in an administrative or office‑based role
* Confidence working with Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic reporting
* Ability to manage email, calendars and communication using Microsoft Outlook
Qualifications
* Standard Grade English and Mathematics at Level 3 or equivalent
* Additional administrative or business qualifications would be advantageous
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
