 
        Description Pupil Support Assistant Gylemuir Primary School Salary: £25,905 - £26,111 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional) Hours: 27.25 per week, 39 weeks sessional Working pattern for position is Mon-Thurs 08.40 to 15.20 and Fri 08.40 to 12.30 Gylemuir Primary School is situated in North West Edinburgh, our learners are residents of Corstorphine and Broomhall areas of Edinburgh with a broad social mix. We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our dedicated team of Pupil Support Assistants. This role requires patience, flexibility, and a commitment to promoting positive learning and inclusion for all children. Previous experience of working in a school is not essential but desirable. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
