Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester | Blackburn | Full Time - 8.30am – 17.00pm Monday to Friday (No weekends) | Up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
Our client is a family-run business with over 40 years of experience in the motor industry. They are currently seeking a skilled, experienced, and reliable Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their team in Blackburn.
As an Independent BMW & Mini Specialist garage and part of the Bosch Car Service network, our client takes pride in offering a high-quality alternative to dealership servicing, while also maintaining and repairing a wide range of other vehicle makes and models.

Are you the right person for the job?
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualified in Vehicle Maintenance and repair
* MOT Tester preferred, but not essential, as training will be given
* F-Gas preferred, but not essential, as training will be given
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Professional and presentable appearance with good communication skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
What will your role look like?
* Carrying out Vehicle diagnostics
* Carrying out Vehicle servicing, replacement of brakes, clutches, tyres, cambelts and general vehicle repairs
* Carrying out paper and digital management of customer, vehicle and parts information
* Management of tracking and security of vehicle keys
* Ensuring the workshop is clean and complies with Health & Safety Regulations
* Liaising with the Service Adviser to ensure that jobs are managed in a timely manner
* Reporting to the Master Technician
* Working in a safe and tidy manner
