Role: Food Technology Teacher\n\nLocation: Hillingdon\n\nSalary: £150 - £300 per day\n\nStart Date: September 2025\n\nAre you a passionate and innovative Food Technology Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? Are you seeking a stimulating opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of culinary arts?\n\nGSL Education are currently seeking a number of dynamic and dedicated Food Technology Teachers to join our outstanding client schools in Hillingdon from September 2025.\n\nAs a Food Technology Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to engage and inspire students in the art of food preparation, nutrition and culinary skills.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nPlanning and delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that align with the curriculum\nProviding students with practical hands-on experiences in our fully equipped food technology facilities\nPromoting a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and experimentation\nAssessing and providing constructive feedback on student work to facilitate their progress and achievement\nCollaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and resources\nMonitoring student progress and communicating effectively with parents and caregivers\n\nTo be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and qualities:\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a related subject\nStrong subject knowledge and a passion for food and nutrition\nExperience in planning and delivering engaging lessons to students of varying abilities\nExcellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills\nCommitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of current educational trends\n\nMust hold an enhanced, Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.\n\nGSL Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
