What Youll Do
As a Senior Technical Estimator, youll:
Manage complex High Voltage project enquiries from initial review to tender submission, negotiation, and contract award
Review specifications to identify technical and delivery requirements for projects up to 400kV
Prepare detailed cost estimates for High Voltage electrical work, supporting Powersystems tender strategy
Attend site visits, pre and post tender, and pre-contract meetings
Work with the Procurement team to obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations
Work closely with teams across the business to ensure accurate and practical estimates
Champion Powersystems PriorityNo.1 Health, Safety, and wellbeing, professionalism and continuous improvement

What Were Looking For Estimating
Strong technical knowledge of 33kV, 132kV, and 400kV electrical infrastructure works
Proven experience in producing technical estimates and tender submissions in the electrical infrastructure sector up to 400kV
Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualifications in Electrical Engineering or similar
Proven ability to interpret requirements, specifications, and technical drawings, converting them into submissions
Excellent communication skills
Adept at building strong ongoing working relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues, demonstrating clear and professional communication at all times
Full UK Driving License & Right to Work in the UK
