Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Oxford (5 days on-site)

My client is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our finance function. This is a pivotal role for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving financial excellence and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and lead the finance team (1 Management Accountant and 1 Accounts Assistant)
* Oversee cashflow management and investment tracking
* Prepare and review management accounts and month-end reporting
* Ensure timely and accurate VAT returns, payroll processing, billing, and aged debt management
* Submit National Statistics reports and support internal audit recommendations
* Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
* Guide, train, and develop team members to enhance performance and capability
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role
* Strong understanding of management accounting, cashflow, and financial controls
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work hands-on with financial data
* Experience with VAT, payroll, billing, and aged debt processes
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach to team leadership
* Comfortable working full-time on-site in central Oxford
