About the apprenticeship
Duties
Bid writing and tender support (training provided)
Assist with drafting, editing and improving written answers for bids and tenders (RFPs/ITTs/PQQs/frameworks).
Proofread for grammar, spelling, clarity, tone and consistency.
Format documents so they look professional (headings, spacing, tables, page numbers).
Gather information from colleagues and turn it into clear, well-structured content.
Maintain a library of templates and reusable content (case studies, standard answers, policies, credentials).
Follow checklists to ensure submissions meet requirements (word counts, attachments, file naming, deadlines).
•Admin and operations support
Keep trackers up to date (deadlines, tasks, outcomes, document versions).
Organise files and folders so everything is easy to find and correctly versioned.
Provide general admin support: scheduling, notes/actions, document control, internal updates.
Support basic reporting/data entry where needed.
•Marketing writing and scheduling (training provided)
Help write and polish short marketing content in our tone of voice (e.g., LinkedIn posts, short website copy, simple case studies, email/newsletter drafts).
Turn rough notes from the team into clear, customer-friendly messaging.
Support basic content scheduling (e.g., preparing drafts ahead of time, maintaining a simple content calendar, uploading/scheduling posts using tools we provide).

Qualifications
GCSE grades C or above in English, Maths and ICT is desirableEssential
•Excellent written English (clear, accurate, professional).
•Strong attention to detail.
•Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
•Comfortable using Word/Google Docs and basic spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets).
•Willingness to learn and take feedback.
•Professional handling of confidential information.
Desirable (not required)
•Any writing experience (college coursework, blog writing, customer emails, social captions).
•Any admin experience (formal or informal).
•Interest in writing, marketing, operations, business, or technology.
