Dayshift Mechanical Engineer needed for a well-known Facilities Management organisation based in Edinburgh who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Dayshift Mechanical Engineer that takes pride in their work.
The successful candidate will be involved with maintenance and minor works covering a wide range of mechanical equipment servicing large industrial units, such as dual-fired boilers and heating and ventilation systems.
Qualifications required: Recognised Mechanical/Engineering apprenticeship, C&G, Scotvec (SVQ3), or equivalent.

Role responsibilities include:
* Fault finding on complex systems such as medical gas, MTHW/LTHW pressure heating water, critical systems, and pressurised steam systems.
* Using cause and effect analysis, detailed examination, and relevant drawings and schematics to identify solutions.
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, commissioning, and testing, with proper documentation.
* Using all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with safety policies.
* Working with analytical test devices, specialist tools, workshop equipment, electrical tools, welding equipment, emergency generators, and medical gas equipment.
Experience needed:
* Recognised Mechanical/Engineering apprenticeship.
* Ability to pass a DS Basic check.
