Hays are currently partnered with a national propertypany who are growing their Business Rates division due to current ongoing high demand. As such, they are looking for someone at Associate Level to help support ongoing cases, team management and future business development. Your new role
1. Manage the CCA process internally, submit appeals, and assist in buildingpelling cases through collaboration with councils.
2. Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all appeal cases and client interactions.
3. Schedule and coordinate meetings, inspections, and surveys efficiently.
4. Assist in preparingprehensive client reports, engaging presentations, and other necessary materials.
5. Facilitatemunication with clients, councils, and various stakeholders promptly.
6. Ensure timelypletion of all administrative tasks by monitoring deadlines.
7. Professional business development
8. Develop strong relationships with councils and the Valuation Office.
9. Provide insightful client reports and forecasts as requested.
10. Stay informed about evolving case law and industry changes.
What you'll need to succeed
11. MRICS, IRRV (Hons), or RSA qualified
12. 5+ years PQE with proven rating experience
13. Deep knowledge of rating legislation & VOA procedures
14. Organised, proactive, and confident in managing a high-value caseload
15. Experience representing at Valuation Tribunal (preferred)
