Assistant Financial Accountant - Warrington Assistant Financial AccountantLocation: Hinton House, Warrington (Hybrid: min. 2 days/week in office)Reports to: Financial Accounting ManagerDepartment: Finance Purpose of the RoleAs Assistant Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting across all three NTS legal entities—INS, DRS, and PNTL. You’ll be a trusted partner in supporting audits, compliance, and transformation, helping shape the future of finance at NTS. What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll be hands-on with financial data, collaborating across teams, and contributing to a high-performing finance function. Your key accountabilities include: Financial Reporting & ComplianceAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including statutory accounts and NDA reporting.Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Provide key data and documentation for external audits.Assist with VAT returns and other tax filings. Technical Accounting & ControlsSupport IFRS16 lease calculations (depreciation, interest, payments).Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Ensure internal controls and policy documents are current and compliant.
