Service Manager (Medicine Care Group)
A vacancy at Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. The Service Manager will assist the General Manager in the daily running of select services in the Medicine Care Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in partnership with the General Manager to manage elective, non‑elective, cancer and diagnostic pathways and recovery plans.
* Provide managerial leadership, expertise and operational support to staff within the defined area of responsibility.
* Focus on the delivery of efficient and productive services and support the wider strategic development of the defined service.
* Support operational performance of the service and contribute to the implementation of the Care Group’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
* Knowledge and experience in operational management and medical staffing & workforce.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment.
* Demonstrated ability to provide managerial leadership and operational support.
