Salary: £110 - £140 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Stafford. The school has a supportive and welcoming environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality education and providing staff with the tools and support needed to succeed in their roles.
The school is looking to appoint a Science Technician on a full-time temporary supply basis from 1st June. The successful Science Technician will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and setting up practical resources for Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, while ensuring laboratory equipment is safe, organised and compliant with COSHH regulations.
The successful Science Technician will have:
• Previous experience working within a school laboratory environment
• A strong understanding of COSHH regulations and health and safety procedures
• Experience preparing practical resources for Science lessons
• Knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics laboratory equipment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
